They have been in business for 63 years. Heiser’s Garage was started in 1949 by the parents of current owner Norman E. Heiser and has remained in the same location all this time.
The auto body or collision repair business was opened in 1986 by Mr. Heiser, and his older brothers took care of the mechanical duties until their death or retirement.
Mr. Heiser also holds degrees in his profession. He graduated from Illinois Central College, majoring in Business in 1971. He then received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automotive Technology from Bradley University in 1975 and went on to add the I-Car Graduate Certificate in 1989 and a PPG Refinish Training Course in 2002.
Mr. Heiser is a rust repair specialist and Heiser’s Garage & Auto Body gives unmatched services when it comes to rust issues on your vehicle. He tries to save the affected panels by taking the best possible measures, but in case they are beyond repair, new patch panels are made and installed. This gives back the original factory appearance to the car.
Also, Mr. Heiser takes care that his work is thorough and endures the test of time. Even if it is damage due to accidents, he does an excellent job of getting the car back to a pre-accident condition and factory appearance.
